Year- round E-15 is closer than ever. Lawmakers unveiled a stop-gap spending bill Tuesday night to prevent a government shutdown through March 14th, and it included a provision to allow sales of E-15 throughout the year. Renewable Fuels Association President Geoff Cooper said, “We are very excited to see the language included. That’s a huge step forward. Getting into the package was really the heaviest part of the lift, we think, and hopefully, we’ll see this all finished up by the end of the week.” The vote is expected Friday morning.
