Kelley Bean Facility Manager Dean Nelson says the dry bean harvest has started in Hatton, North Dakota area. “On Labor Day, we got our first load in,” said Nelson. “We had two large days of dumping on the Monday/Tuesday and with a little bit of weather slowed us down a little bit.” With the amount of dry bean acres in production, Nelson expects a large crop.
