North Dakota farmers need to be prepared if drought conditions persist this year. That’s according NDSU Extension specialists. Much of the Dakotas and Minnesota are experiencing dry conditions. In fact, 62 percent of North Dakota is in severe drought with 23 percent of the state in moderate drought conditions. Forage production will especially be impacted and drought management plans are encouraged for those with livestock. Read more.
