Sugarbeet root maggot fly activity is at peak in the upper Red River Valley. NDSU Extension Entomologist Mark Boetel says the wind and heat is spreading out peak fly activity. The wind is also impacting fly counts. “We’re not getting a true reflection on what is actually out there, but we do know it’s peak time.”
