California Governor Gavin Newsom issued a directive to the California Air Resources Board to expedite a move toward E15. Growth Energy CEO Emily Skor praised Newsom’s support for the 15 percent ethanol blend, saying it can lower fuel costs. POET Senior Vice President Joshua Shields said this policy also reinforces California’s support for air quality and public health.
