U.S. Tractor and Combine Sales Fell in September.

Tractor sales are down more than 19 percent from one year ago. The sale of 4WD tractors declined 15 percent, while 2WD tractors dropped more than 19 percent. Year-to-date, 4WD tractor sales are up nearly two percent and 2WD tractors declined nearly 14 percent. According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, the sale of combines were down over 40 percent in September. Year-to-date combine sales are down over 21 percent.
