Langdon Research Extension Center Director Randy Mehloff is pleased with this year’s crop. “We were able to get all of our research, Extension and foundation seed plots planted. Because of the rain everything is looking really good.” The rains delayed the start of the planting season at the REC, but Mehloff now sees potential for a bumper crop. “The only question mark right now is how much disease pressure are we going to experience between now and harvest this fall.”
