The NDSU Extension Agronomy Seed Farm field day in Casselton, North Dakota was an opportunity to showcase local conditions. Seed Farm Director Brian Otteson said the dry winter turned into a wet spring, delaying planting. “We’ve had about 13.7 inches of rain since April, which is above average, but overall, the crops are looking good. We just need some heat now.”
