The conditions this season have led to lower overall insect pressure. NDSU Extension Entomologist Janet Knodel has seen slower development of insects. “We have not seen any significant insects to report for the most part.” Knodel says farmers should continue to scout their fields and keep an eye on cereal and soybean aphids in particular.
