Marsha Van Laere is the Northern Plains sales representative for Gowan. When Marsha started in ag retail, there weren’t many women in those roles. “There were many times I was one of just a handful of females at the meetings, there’s many times I was just the only female at the meetings,” said Van Laere. “The interesting thing is being one of the few females, you tend to learn everybody in the industry quickly.” Van Laere is now pleased to see more women represented in the ag field.
