Governor Tim Walz hosted the first Minnesota trade mission to Australia. Minnesota Soybean Growers Association President Bob Worth called it an eye-opening experience. “The agriculture sector in Australia raises nothing but wheat and basically anything non-GMO. They raise zero soybeans and zero corn and feed their livestock wheat meal.” Worth says Australia’s non-GMO agriculture approach would be a challenge.
