EPA Faces Cuts in House Budget Bill

The House Appropriations Committee has approved a budget that would reduce the EPA’s funding to its lowest level since 1991. The party-line vote cut the agency’s budget by nearly 40 percent from the current fiscal year. The bill now goes to the full House.
