AgMarket.Net Market Analyst Jacob Burks says planting progress in the tri-state area of southern Wisconsin, northern Illinois and eastern Iowa has been at a standstill for the past couple of weeks. “You don’t have to go too far from me in the southwest corner of Wisconsin to see quite a bit that went in the ground. Two weeks ago, we had ideal conditions, before temperatures turned too cold and it’s just wet, sticky, and cold.”
