Argentina’s government extended its 12.5 percent biodiesel blend rate to avoid an increase in fuel imports. Argentina initially increased the blend rate from five percent to 12.5 percent in June. Argentina’s government did not say how long the 12.5 percent blend rate would remain in effect.
