Syngenta Group Earnings Improve

The Syngenta Group is reporting third quarter earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization of $800 million. That’s up 13 percent from one year ago. For the first nine months of the financial year, sales in the crop protection business were up 19 percent. MIRAVIS fungicide brand sales in North America were strong. ADAMA sales grew 19 percent with an increase in biological sales for cereal crops, sugarbeets and potatoes. Syngenta Seed sales are up 25 percent.
