The National FFA Convention is back and in-person this year. Thousands of blue and gold jackets, FFA advisors and supporters are gathering in downtown Indianapolis this week. In the next few days, FFA members will compete in events, meet up for the general sessions and be recognized for their hard work in agriculture. A virtual program is also being offered this week. The State FFA Officer teams, who serve as delegates at convention, are already in town. Thief River Falls native and Minnesota FFA State Vice-President Wyatt Halvorson is looking forward to the delegate session on Thursday and the first general session of convention. “You sit in Lucas Oil Stadium and get this awesome feeling. There are people across the country all around you with similar passions. The feeling is unbelievable.”
