Summit Commodities market analyst Tim Marsh says if there’s any message to take from the Pro Farmer Crop Tour is that the soybean yield may be lower. “I think the soybean yield could come down in the September USDA report, based on what the Pro Farmer Crop Tour found this year compared to one year ago, compared to what the USDA did. The corn is more 50/50.” Marsh says weather will continue to be traded between now and then.
