The American Soybean Association has recognized four regional Conservation Legacy Awards. For the Upper Midwest Region, the honors have gone to Brian Ryberg of Buffalo Lake, Minnesota. Ryberg transitioned the farm to strip-till and cover crops six years ago. In addition to conservation benefits, Ryberg said his investment in capital and labor was cut in half.
