The May crude oil futures contract was down 300 percent on Monday, settling at a negative $37.63 per barrel. This one-day drop is the first time a crude oil contract has traded negative and set a new all time low for a front month contract. The more active June contract ended down $4.60 at $20.03 per barrel.
