President Trump signed a package that focused on taking care of human health issues Wednesday. “That’s been a high priority in terms of making sure there are more test kits made available for the coronavirus with more testing done,” said Randy Russell, president, The Russell Group. The first bill included nutrition assistance, worker protections and paid leave for those facing the virus. The bill being discussed this week is geared to address economic damage caused by the coronavirus. “This has to be very bipartisan if it is going to get through Congress. It goes to show the extent of economic damage that’s being caused as we restrict economic activity due to the concerns of the spread of the coronavirus and its impact on several different industries.”
