Summit Commodities market analyst Tim Marsh says now that this USDA data is out, analysts will continue to watch for clues on what China could be interested in buying from the U.S. “The markets had hoped they will make some announcements, but China doesn’t have to do that right away,” says Marsh. “They may not feel an obligation to start buying.” It could be disappointing to the markets if China doesn’t tip their hand to U.S. products soon.
