U.S. pork exports were record large in July. At more than 233 metric tons, pork exports were up 32 percent from one year ago. Exports to China and Hong Kong reached a record $152.5 million in value. Mexico and Japan were also top buyers for U.S. pork. Beef sales were steady with the strong results seen one year ago. Export volumes were up one percent from a year ago, but value was down slightly.
