Farm Service Agency Administrator Richard Fordyce will visit North Dakota in August, joining North Dakota Senator John Hoeven for an agriculture roundtable discussion. Hoeven worked closely with USDA in developing the new Market Facilitation Program and will meet with farmers across the state to discuss in the next few weeks. “The important thing is USDA will be getting assistance out to growers before the end of August,” says Hoeven. “We’ll also be getting more input from producers to make sure USDA is doing it as well as possible.”
