Canadian Canola Farmers Receive Credit Bump

Additional funds are now available for Canadian farmers through the Advance Payments Program. The program expands credit to one million Canadian and provides up to $500,000 interest-free for canola production. This comes as a result of China blocking imports of Canadian canola seed from two companies. The Chinese market accounts for approximately 40 percent of all Canadian canola seed, oil and meal exports.
