Northland Community and Technical College Farm Business Management Instructor Betsy Jensen says tariffs, NAFTA and government policy are influencing the markets. “We’re supposed to be looking at crop conditions and looking at weather maps. Instead, we’re focusing more on the trade war that we are involved in, which is very unfortunate. I’m hoping everything will settle. I do think in the long run, this isn’t going to hurt us.
