Informa Economics is now forecasting U.S. corn acreage to come in at 88.7 million acres. That’s nearly 700,000 acres higher than the March USDA prospective planting intentions report. Soybean acreage is projected to be at 89.9 million acres, up 920,000 acres from the prospective plantings report. Informa expects spring wheat acres to be at 12.1 million acres, down slightly from the March USDA report.
