Minnesota Commerce Commissioner Jessica Looman has issued a temporary suspension of the B20 mandate until the end of June. The Commerce Department says there is not enough biodiesel in the state to meet 20 percent biodiesel volume requirements. The Minnesota Soybean Processors plant at Brewster produces nearly 50 percent of the biodiesel capacity in the state. That facility has been shut down for planned maintenance, resulting in the supply challenges.
